Duties & Responsibilities:
• Resolve computer related issues as assigned
• Troubleshoot software / hardware problems and find / implement solutions
• Prioritize and accurately log tickets and resolutions
• Assist in ensuring that all software licenses are properly assigned
• Assist in ensuring all work areas are organized and clean
• Work with the Head of I.T. to maintain desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, etc.
• Ensure all assigned project tasks are completed accurately and on time
• Collaborate with other team members to solve new and ongoing issues
• Help new employees learn the company systems
• Additional duties as required
Job Qualifications:
• 2+ years experience in a Desktop Systems Administrator capacity
• Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Must Have VFX Experience -2D/ 3D applications (Maya, Houdini, Nuke, Photoshop etc.)
• Utilize superior customer service skills
• Strong understanding of Windows required. Linux / MAC experience a plus.
• Excellent working knowledge of standard office applications (OpenOffice, Acrobat, Thunderbird etc.)
• Strong communication and problem solving skills
• Detail oriented and self motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
