Pixar Animation Studios is seeking a highly motivated, passionate Senior Recruiter to join our recruiting team. This individual will support the recruitment efforts of the technology teams in the studio by identifying and screening qualified candidates for open requisitions. The qualified candidate is a skilled interviewer who balances the studio's needs with strengths and needs of the candidate. S/he will be someone who works well in our fast paced, collaborative environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Responsible for full cycle recruiting including sourcing candidates (passive and active), interviewing, references and negotiating offers
• Builds relationships and partners with hiring managers to gain full understanding of hiring needs and guides, influences and manages the recruitment strategies and processes for the technology teams
• Reviews and analyzes resumes for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements and organizational fit
• Compiles interview comments and feedback through the applicant tracking system; ensures timely and effective communication and follow through with all candidates and team members from point of applicant to employment
• Drives offer process - including providing salary recommendations, extending/negotiating offers
• Actively create and maintain a network of industry contacts to identify potential candidates for current and future studio needs
• Participate in talent outreach efforts including industry conferences and university visits as needed
• Maintain candidate database
• Special projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Requires 5 years experience in recruiting, with an emphasis in technology preferred
• Proven ability to effectively manage the recruiting process as well as relationships with hiring managers
• Strong consultative and partnering skills
• Exceptional organizational, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow through and work independently and in a team environment
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask
• Positive attitude and ability to be flexible
• Proven ability to solve problems and further improve the recruiting process
• Experience with applicant tracking systems, Workday a plus
• Macintosh proficiency including Microsoft Office and Keynote preferred
