ROLE OVERVIEW
To manage the relationships with our clients and creatively produce AV specific elements of campaigns for Major studios including Trailers, TV Spots, Animated Digital Outdoor, VOD and all online AV deliverables in a small fast-paced production environment.
The role needs somebody with proven ability to work independently and creatively to meet deadlines, while producing high quality results and maintaining a professional attitude.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative and Production
• Edit Production & Direction - providing creative, technical and legal support to Editors. Ensuring the client's briefs are adhered to whilst maintaining the company's creative integrity and excellence.
• Motion Graphics Direction - liaising with the Executive Creative Director (or Designer) and the Motion Graphics Animator to ensure the creative vision of the motion GFX is technically achievable within the client's budget and timeframe and the creative vision is met.
• AV project management - including the production and management of timelines and budgets, resource allocation, both internally and externally, and client billing.
Sales and management
• Proactively drive sales from US based film clients through face to face appointments and direct client communications.
• Work with the CEO to set departmental budgets and achieve company sales goals.
• Foster and maintain a positive work culture within the LA based team building and maintain good working relationship between both offices.
• Observe and respect the confidentiality that is required within the role of a senior member of the management team.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Creative Edit Producing
• Client Liaison
• Strong people management skills
• Good verbal, written communication and presentation skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, and strong creative and analytical skills.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
• At least 5 years' experience working as a Creative AV Producer ideally in the Theatrical or Home Entertainment industry; working internally alongside Editors, Sound Engineers, Motion Graphics Designers and Client Account Management teams.
• At least 5 years client liaison experience.
• Must have worked on International and Domestic AV campaigns and have a good working knowledge of the specific deliverables required.
• Must have produced AV as part of an integrated 360 campaign as well as standalone AV assets.
• At least 5 years' experience managing AV Creatives and freelancers within the Theatrical Marketing industry.
JOB RELATED KNOWLEDGE
• Detailed knowledge of the AV production process from 'script to screen 'across all disciplines of AV.
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of the requirements of a 'localization', 'adaptation' and 'origination' production processes.
• Technical knowledge - Footage: (SD/HD/frame rates/aspect ratios/texted & textless/digital delivery specifications/integration of motion GFX). Audio: (Stereo/5.1/splits/stems/frame rates/R128/broadcast mutes).
Qualification requirements:
• Minimum Degree level.
