Job Summary:
Directly responsible for managing the Accounts Payable function across multiple divisions of the company.
Primary Responsibilities of the A/P Manager and/or staff include:
• Reviews invoices through check generation.
• Sets up and maintains vendor records.
• Matches vendor invoices to purchase orders.
• Maintains purchase order log as well as pending purchase orders.
• Codes documents to G/L and project accounts.
• Collects payment for trade invoices as well as updates the system.
• Receives and distributes Company mail on a daily basis.
• Maintains organization structure of department filing records.
• Responds to financial questions/concerns to meet business needs.
• Assist with development of the PO System and streamlining processes.
General Requirements:
General knowledge of the operations and practices of the company. Knowledge of finance and accounting procedures; proficiency with SAP; excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong organizational skills with the ability to manage employees and multi-task under set deadlines.
Experience in the Entertainment industry preferred.
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Certificates and Licenses Required:
None.
Physical Requirements:
General office setting; no special requirements.
