JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Senior Producer / Editor - Philadelphia 76ers
LOCATION: Philadelphia, PA
JOB SUMMARY:
The Sixers are creating an in-house video production department. The Senior Producer/ Editor will serve as a key member of the Philadelphia 76ers in-house production department and is responsible for establishing the vision, creative look, and production of video content including but not limited to in-arena features/graphics, TV commercials, and online and digital features.
Assist the Executive Producer in establishing a consistent, world class creative vision and philosophy that ensures the Sixers produce elite quality content that enhances the Philadelphia 76ers brand.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
• Assist the Exec Producer in establishing and driving world class video and graphic production across in-game entertainment, television commercials, and, when appropriate, digital platforms.
• Collaborate with the Game Entertainment Department to establish and define an in-arena creative look and feel. Shoot, edit and produce all in-game videos and graphics. Ie. Highlight videos, crowd pump up videos, starting lineup videos/graphics, humorous / fun videos, etc.
• Work with the Executive Producer in the planning and production of game day video roll-ins, highlight packages and other video pieces for use during Sixers games and events.
• Serve as the lead editor for video and graphic production that runs cross channel - via game entertainment, TV, and digital when appropriate.
• Work with the Exec Producer to conceive and produce unique video content ideas and strategies to enhance the brand of the Sixers.
• Work closely with Marketing Department to drive the Sixers brand and ticket sales via TV commercials and other compelling video content.
• Foster a strong creative culture.
• Effectively integrate on-court activities, LED ribbon boards, live video, music, and stats into Sixers game presentation.
• Collaborate with Corporate Partnership sales and activation to create and execute sponsored, cross-platform, compelling content features that enhance the fan experience, elevate the Sixers brand and deliver on sponsor objectives.
• Manage production equipment inventory and media asset management.
• Develop internal video content to support charitable events, Sixers platforms/promotions and sales.
• Perform camera, light and audio set-up and operation for shoots, video ingesting, sourcing photos, selecting stock music, script writing, copy checking.
COMPETENCIES:
1. Strong Production, Editing, and creative knowledge. Ability to establish a world class creative look and excel at visual storytelling.
2. Motion Graphics experience a plus.
3. Previous experience managing and leading production and creative vision.
4. Creative visionary with a proven track record of leading, managing, hiring, developing, mentoring, and motivating strong teams through growth, adversity, and change.
5. Innovation - Displays original thinking and creativity. Meets challenges with resourcefulness.
6. Teamwork and collaboration - work with a variety of internal stakeholders.
7. Oral Communications - Speaks clearly and persuasively, listens and gets clarification. Demonstrates group presentation skills and promotes participation in meetings.

9. Judgment - Displays willingness to make decisions and exhibits sound and accurate judgment. Includes appropriate people in decision-making process.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Proficient with Final Cut Pro.
2. Experience in video production and non-linear editing a must.
3. Proficient with HD and DSLR cameras.
4. Experience in sports video production, film and cinematography a plus.
5. Experience working with camera crews, experience operating cameras and microphones preferred.
6. Strong understanding of production / post-production process and asset management.
7. A minimum of five (5) years producing and editing video content for broadcast, in arena or online. Experience as a camera operator/shooter a plus.
8. Able to perform production duties as needed (ie: camera operator, sound recorder, grip and electric, director, producer, writer, etc.).
9. Knowledge of software programs such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop), Final Cut Pro or Avid Media Composer, and Avid Pro Tools.
10. Ability to work events and games which require nights and weekends.
11. Self-motivated, resourceful and flexible.
