Well-established Music Production company in Calabasas, CA is seeking a Full-time Scoring coordinator/Contract Administrator.
The Company actively supports, facilitates and organizes in both recording and live performance music and enjoys an excellent reputation in the music industry.
Job duties will include but not limited to:
1. Coordination and logistics of recording sessions as well as live performances.
2. Filing contracts and data entry.
3. Interact with high profile clients.
4. Carrying out daily operations.
5. Perform administrative tasks such as data entry and client correspondence.
6. Budgeting and scheduling.
The ideal candidate must excel at multitasking, be self motivated and confident, friendly and outgoing, possess highly developed organizational skills, strong attention to detail, problem-solver, superior verbal and written communication skills, a professional demeanor and the ability to work well as part of a team. Willingness and desire to learn new tasks with the company is essential. Knowledge of union contracts, specifically AFM (Musicians Union).
Required Qualifications/Skills include:
1. Administrative, coordination experience preferred, ideally in the entertainment industry.
2. Knowledge of music and the recording industry.
3. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Filemaker Pro, Mac and PC computers and other commonly used applications.
4. Social media savvy a plus.
5. Must be a self starter with excellent problem-solving, analytical and mathematic skills.
6. Must be able to maintain confidential information.
7. Must be well mannered, have a professional demeanor and an excellent attitude.
8. Able to work well with co-workers in a boutique, friendly, non-corporate environment.
Salary commensurate with experience: Minimum 1-2 years
