Search for 3D Designer jobs in Lancaster-PA
The successful candidate will have a strong CAD background with solid Vectorworks experience as well as 3D Visualization with good modeling and texturing skill. They will be expected to produce high quality drawing and rendering output under tight deadlines. The successful candidate will have an eye for detail and work with precision. They will have an understanding of architectural and theatrical design standards, materials, rendering and the impact of these in the entertainment industry. They will be expected to follow client preferences with regards to textures, colors, style, décor, etc. The job may require some traveling a few weeks spread throughout the year. This is an in-house position; our office is located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. All interested applicants are to submit a cover page and resume.
Responsibilities
• Creating and maintaining master drawing sets for the Modeling Department
• File exchange between Vectorworks and Cinema 4D
• Create presentation for internal and external use
• Attention to detail in regards to drawing updates
• Participate and take notes on determined departmental calls
• Maintain and contribute to the departmental process (i.e. templates, workflow, archrivals, etc.)
• Manage and maintain PEDG digital 3D library
• Project research and development
Core Competencies
• Vectorworks (other acceptable program: AutoCAD)
• 3D modeling software, specifically Cinema 4D
• Background in scenic lighting in C4D for live events
• Adobe Creative Suite Skills
• Proficiency in Word, Keynote, and Excel
• Studio & Animations
Competences (preferred but not required)
• IT Experience
• Animation software (i.e. After Effects)
• Lighting, stage, scenic design background
