Passion River Films is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to help in all aspects of on-boarding, marketing, publicity, and promoting films. This position is based in our Warren NJ office and reports directly to the Senior Director of Sales and Acquisitions.
The ideal candidate should have superior attention to detail, excellent communication and organizational skills, and have a proactive and personable approach with a passion for delivering results in an exciting, fast-paced environment. Relevant experience in marketing, public relations, and/or entertainment industry is preferred.
-Working with filmmakers during the release of their film
-Promoting and marketing documentaries to colleges and libraries
-Assisting with developing marketing materials for email & physical campaigns
-Organizing sales presentations for digital clients such as: Netflix and Hulu
-Managing encoding process for digital assets to online client platforms such as: iTunes, Netflix, Amazon, etc..
-Managing work flow for VOD and DVD releases
-Email and phone customer service for vendors and clients
-Sales support and follow up
-Reliable transportation (we are not near mass transit)
-Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
-Attention to detail along with excellent reading, writing, proofreading, & speaking skills
-Basic computer troubleshooting skills, especially with Mac
-Ability to multitask and manage several projects and priorities at once
-Self-starter along with comfort in working independently
-Incredible customer service skills
-Passionate about movies, documentaries, & storytelling
