The Senior Manager, Research Analytics and Insights will oversee audience analytics for all Pivot platforms and provide data and analysis to all departments.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee audience analytics for all platforms with focus on analysis servicing Ad Sales and Affiliate teams
• Manage qualitative projects to uncover, create and compile data resources (demos, psychographics, comparisons, success metrics, etc.) to create the best stories possible for Ad Sales and Affiliate teams
• Manage qualitative projects that are designed to give the programming team concrete feedback on proposed and current programs
• Create ratings and qualitative-based sales and marketing materials, including sales presentations/pitches
• Stay on top of industry changes / developments in audience metrics across all platforms, ensuring Pivot is accessing most relevant metrics and has access to all data that will allow for most complete analysis and the ability to craft the best stories for sales
• Interpret research data for senior managers to assist in their decision making
• Collaborate with Sr. Director of Program Research Analytics to craft research and analysis for upfront sales presentation
• Support Sr. Director of Program Research Analytics, EVP Sales and VP Pricing & Planning in setting estimates for each year and upfront period and work estimates into a sales model to reach business goals
• Work with digital analyst to coordinate digital story for sales purposes
• Manage relationships with third party providers of research services such as Kagan and MRI, Nielsen and Rentrak primary teams
• Other duties/special projects as assigned
Direct Report: Research Analyst
Reports to: Vice President, Multi-platform Scheduling and Research
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience in audience analytics
• Prior experience working at a cable television network preferred
