Responsibilities:
Manage and Grow TakePart Partner Link Exchange Program:
Manage existing partner relationships and explore traffic growth opportunities with existing partners
Grow partner network by establishing new relationships to add additional partners to TakePart's traffic exchange program
Run paid marketing campaigns, including advertising on Facebook:
Create media plans for digital campaigns and execute them on Facebook Ads Manager and Facebook Power Editor
Optimize campaigns continually based on performance
Provide wrap-up reporting on all campaigns
Run paid marketing campaigns on additional platforms such as google/youtube, twitter, tumblr, and more
Research and test campaigns with new vendors ongoing
Serve as liaison between marketing and content teams to improve process and content:
Report back to editorial team on content wins
Suggest marketing-minded content to editorial team based on insight from partners, social media performance, and search trends
Suggest content and creative tweaks to team based on learned best practices
Work with TakePart's social media team on identifying social media trends and opportunities on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, etc.:
Manage TakePart's Tumblr presence
Establish and implement editorial strategy on Tumblr
Grow followers and referral traffic to TakePart.com from Tumblr
Oversee sweepstakes, contests, and promotions:
Work with internal teams to establish goals and execute sweeps and contests
Grow TakePart's email database, registered user base, and social media following through contests and promotions
Other marketing duties/special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of digital marketing experience
Deep knowledge of social media including Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr
Experience working with analytics products such as Google Analytics, Adobe Site Catalyst, Facebook Insights, comScore Media Metrix
Comfort with Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Experience buying advertising, specifically launching and managing campaigns on Facebook, YouTube
