Analyst, Business and Development and Strategy

Participant Media is looking for an analyst to join the team. This is a full-time position working out of our Beverly Hills office. For each of its projects, Participant creates social action and advocacy programs to transform the impact of the media experience into individual and community action. Participant's films include the current international success, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, and the recent Academy Award-winning box office hit The Help, Steven Soderbergh's thriller, Contagion, and such Oscar-winning or nominated titles as An Inconvenient Truth, The Cove, Food, Inc., Good Night and Good Luck, Syriana, The Kite Runner, Charlie Wilson's War and The Visitor.

Support social action campaigns and department operations:
• Assist in management of all legal and budgetary requirements for social action and advocacy campaigns
• Assist in developing a methodology for measuring and reporting on social impact of social actions and advocacy campaigns
• Regularly report on the social impact for campaigns and business related projects
• Participate in team meetings
• Collaborate with other departments (Marketing, Digital, Business Affairs) as instructed
• Help set up efficient data collecting processes, keep abreast of analytics tools, design reporting templates, compile competitive reports, to make the data consumption process efficient.
• Manage end-to-end reporting projects adhering to timelines and directing/ collaborating with others.
• Develop new frameworks, models and processes turning key insights into actionable decisions and business operations
• Translate sets of data into meaningful insights
• Deliver informative, well-organized communication of insights and recommendations to internal partners. Deal with ambiguity by getting timely clarifications and deliver results.
• Develop relationships across the organization, collaborate and share best practices

Requirements:

• Advanced- level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong command of reporting tools preferred
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
