SUMMARY:
This opportunity provides the qualified candidate with the necessary skills to start a career in television research. In this position, the candidate will learn standard ratings software systems used broadly throughout the industry, including NPower, comScore's TV Essentials, MRI and MyEvents. This position supports the Research Department with all aspects of audience analysis (compiling research reports, data preparation) and interpretation of results in order to aid in business decisions for the Programming, Ad Sales, Marketing and Affiliate Sales departments. Depending on work flow, this role may also have exposure to quantitative and qualitative media testing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Maintain standard research reports using various tools
• Analyze & interpret cable and broadcast ratings reports
• Implement assigned projects and ad-hoc requests
• Cultivate knowledge of Pivot and the overall TV landscape
• Additional duties as needed
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills and detail oriented
• Advanced knowledge of Excel is strongly preferred and Powerpoint is a plus
• Ability to work in an evolving environment
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Legal right to work in the United States
