Search for Manager, Film Financial Analysis jobs in Los Angeles-CA
Responsibilities:
• Build financial models to support greenlight of film projects
• Create compelling financial presentations that present complex financial analysis concisely
• Prepare ultimates for new film releases and ensure timely updates to library titles
• Gather, store and interpret data for the continual improvement of financial forecasting
• Develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-range projections
• Track development, production cost commitments, international sales, soft money
• Draft film release memos and manage reporting of in-release titles
• Manage department's use of information technology resources
• Prepare executive reports, presentations, dashboards and ad hoc analyses
• Other duties / special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
• BA/BS in Business
• MBA/CPA Preferred
• Additional coursework in law, entertainment, communications a plus
• 3-5 years experience
• Great quantitative skills
• Ability to work independently and solve problems
• Ability to interact with all levels of management
• Comfortable managing multiple deadlines and projects
• Advanced Excel skills required
