Support the overall vision, mission and mandates for the company.
Participant Media offers paid fellowships across our digital and television divisions to college students who have graduated in the last year. The fellowship is a full-time, nine-month program designed to attract and develop motivated, passionate recent graduates interested in pursuing a career in digital or television. Those accepted in our program will have the opportunity to hone their skills and perfect their craft under the supervision of department executives.
Responsibilities:
• Manage incoming/outgoing correspondence and submissions
• Assist with scheduling, group calendar, phone support, and travel & expenses
• Facilitate the distribution of department assets and materials
• Coordinate internal and external meetings and pitches
• Coordinate flow of submissions and written materials for series. Archive/store materials and supporting documents in Box and Evernote for the team
• Review incoming submissions and assist in managing the document archive system
• Write coverage on incoming submissions (including spec scripts and treatments)
• Participate in department weekend reading meetings to discuss writing samples and submissions
• Participate in brainstorms and discussions regarding current and potential series
• Learn about the network greenlight process by working with the team to create and organize intercompany documents and materials
• Create and maintain series production and departmental binders
• Taking first review of paper deliverables for Original Programming
• Create and maintain a tracking/archiving system for paper deliverables
• Assembling production binders
• Other duties / special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
• Graduation within the last year from college or university
