Participant Media is looking for a Coordinator to support the company's Strategy and Business Development department. This individual will work directly with the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) who is responsible for the creation and execution of the company's strategy, investments, innovation and corporate development across film, television and digital media and in both domestic and international markets. This is an exciting opportunity to help transform and grow a company with the unique mission of creating entertainment that inspires and compels social change.
Main Responsibilities:
• Support the day-to-day operations of the CSO and department
• Maintain calendar of meetings, conference calls and organization of critical dates for department members
• Coordinate and arrange internal and external meetings
• Monitor incoming and outgoing calls
• Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements
• Prepare outgoing mail and correspondence including emails, faxes and couriers
• Process expense reports
Additional responsibilities may include:
• Conduct research on market trends, competitive dynamics and potential business development opportunities
• Participate in and contribute to strategy development sessions
• Assist in preparation of presentation materials (e.g., PowerPoint, memos)
• Maintain and organize confidential / critical documents
• Other duties / special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of 1-2 years administrative experience
• Strong interest in media & entertainment industry and social impact
• Proven record of success as a self-starter and team player
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated attention to detail and organization
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and PowerPoint; basic knowledge of Excel
