Full Time Job
The Production Coordinator reports to their assigned Production Manager (PM) and supports all of the logistical, financial and operational tasks involved in the television production of each Pac-12 Network's studio and/or remote sports productions. The position is based in the Pac-12 Network Studio/Offices located in San Francisco.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Keep production planning organized and ensure that staff, freelancers, vendors and all individuals associated with the production know their roles, responsibilities and schedules.
• Support the PMs day to day operational demands that include simultaneous multi-event planning and productions
• Support the PMs with all remote logistics, vendor bidding and booking, coordination with assigned remote Unit Managers for crew assignments, time sheets, communications with University contacts
• Facilitate information flow between client, venues, vendors, shipping departments, freelance crew members and Universities
• Assists PMs in reviewing invoices for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, invoice coding to finance department, working closely with Program Controllers during actual show cost audits
• Assist PM's in the reviewing and authorizing of all remote and studio time sheets prior to submission to payroll processing company
• Work closely with the Program Controllers, Tech Managers, Unit Managers, Crew Schedulers and Travel Coordinators to help manage the freelance crews
• Creates and manages paperwork associated with each production (technical books, expense reports etc.)
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 2 Years of prior work experience in remote television production environment. Previous remote sports production experience preferred but a major plus.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Excellent people, organizational, and communication skills are essential
• Must be self-disciplined and self-motivated and have the ability to comprehend the extensive production operations and schedules. Being flexible allows the production coordinator to successfully see a project to its completion, on time and on budget.
• Passionate about Pac-12 and Collegiate Sports
• Demonstrates ability to prioritize under time constraints and work successfully in a fast-paced environment
• Experience working in a culturally diverse organization and supporting the values held by our unique employees, clients, sponsors, university faculty, and fans
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office and Google applications
• Capable of managing multiple projects with changing deadlines. Required to be 'on-call' on a rotating basis
• Other duties as assigned by the PM (supervisor)
• Some travel may be required
