The new Associate Product Manager - Mobile position is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of television at the Conference of Champions. Pac-12 is looking for a technically savvy Associate Product Manager to own Pac-12 Now, our video-centric mobile app. You will lead development from conception to launch with our internal team and our partners. You will bridge technical and business worlds as you design solutions for fans while incorporating input from various stakeholders including engineering, UX/design, content, marketing, distribution, customer support, and sales. In this role, your focus will be on growing the engagement on our apps as part of helping to shape the future of this unique sports media company.
Responsibilities:
• Lead delivery Pac-12 Now across iOS and Android, and related platforms such as Chromecast.
• Own and evangelize roadmap, positioning, execution, and metrics for your products.
• Project management and quality assurance of your products.
• Manage relationships and drive implementation with external partners and our internal development team, using an agile process.
• Write user stories and other requirements, detailing feature goals and acceptance criteria.
• Advocate for UX and Ul design throughout the development process.
• Drive resolution of any problems or production issues impacting our users.
• Partner with marketing and content teams to grow key app metrics.
• All other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills
& Experience:
• 1 years in technology product management, with a demonstrated history of owning and shipping successful product releases.
• Demonstrated success in a PM role for mobile consumer products.
• Understanding of content management systems/publishing platforms, APIs, and 3rd party integrations, streaming video, and analytics.
• Proven track record of driving audience and engagement growth metrics.
• Scrum master experience, even if informal.
• Degree in a technology-oriented field, or equivalent experience.
