Full Time Job
The Director, Integrated Marketing and Sales engages with advertisers and their associated agencies to sell advertising space in a multimedia capacity- National TV, Local TV, Digital, and Sponsorship. You will manage our National Sales arm, HTS (Atlanta/Dallas) as well as new business efforts in our Pac-12 footprint. Identify and cultivate personnel in targeted accounts who make or influence advertising purchasing decisions. This will also include working with sponsorship, marketing, partner service, research and other teams that provide support and resources.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for generating revenue with national arm
• Successfully drive and close deals
• Working with local sales team in the Pac-12 footprint
• Successfully execute against plan to reach revenue targets
• Develop new business opportunities nationally
• Manage and update sales reporting systems navigating short term and long term goals
• Participate in pricing negotiations and advertising placement
• Preform necessary analysis and planning to assure that the objectives and priorities for each sales call are established and met client needs in a timely manner
• Utilize research to assess what Pac-12 Enterprises solutions will work best for specific client needs and keep current on industry trends and client business news
• Other duties assigned by the Vice President, Integrated Marketing and Sales
Requirements
• 7-10 years of experience working in media sales or advertising agency working on media planning or client/advertising relations
• Background in deal-intensive roles in sales
• Demonstrated record of success; general management, and sales skill
• Team player who possess basic leadership skills, detail oriented and resourceful
• Proven track record of success in a team-based sales environment
• Strong business acumen with respect to media industry
• Proven ability to develop and strengthen client relationships
• Proficient writing and presentation skills required
• Proficient in windows-based software (Excel/PowerPoint)
• Domestic travel will be required (ability to travel 1-3x per month)
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
• Passion for college sports
• Prior cable industry experience
• Understanding of the digital/video marketplace, technical aptitude and strong analytical skills
