Full Time Job
The Accounts Payable Coordinator reports to the Controller and is solely responsible for full cycle accounts payable working closely with all departments.
Responsibilities:
• Process invoices including verifying approval, coding and accuracy
• Collect W-9 for new vendors and create and maintain vendor files.
• Research and resolve A/P issues with vendors and customers
• Plan and process regular check runs
• Process employee expense reports
• Prepare manual checks as needed
• Initiate and process wire transfers and ACH transactions
• Prepare schedules for accounting close as needed
• Assist in tax reporting requirements including W-9s, 1099 and Sales & Use tax returns
• Establish and maintain the accounting office filling, assist with day to day information request and other duties and projects as assigned
• Other duties as assigned by the Controller including: reconciliation of corporate cards; fixed assets; and intercompany transactions.
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts payable.
• Superior organizational skills, analytical skills, time management and prioritization abilities.
• Effective interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication; good judgment and ability to interact with different levels of management and teams
• Experience working in a culturally diverse organization and supporting the values held by our unique employees, clients, sponsors, university faculty, and fans
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel and Google applications, inlcuding Gmail and Google Calendar
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) preferred
