Part Time Assistant to handle both professional and personal assistant duties.
Our candidate has some exposure to the entertainment industry, with one or two internships under his/her belt, and knows the basics of Cision, Photoshop, IMDBPRO, Celebrity Intelligence, Celebrity Datebook, and more. He/she reads Deadline, THR and Variety and is thrilled to learn about all the news taking place in this industry. Our candidate is an admin wiz, who types well, writes well, is organized, and can keep track of multiple appointments at once. Someone on top of his her game and is excited to contribute his/her skills while learning the business. Only needed part time through end of the year. Will consider for FULL TIME in JANUARY.
Responsibilities:
- handling minimal front office duties
- keeping a phone sheet
- rolling calls/checking voicemail
- managing meetings
- greeting guests
- managing the calendar
- coordinating interview requests
- media monitoring
- memos and itineraries
- managing client travel,
- assisting with red carpets and events, press junkets, handling interview requests etc
Requirements: 4 year degree, Communications or Journalism majors preferred. Knows the ins-and-outs of working with Office 365, has experience using Photoshop and Cision, knows the demands of the business and has 1 -2 PR internships under his/her belt.
Candidate is OUTGOING!, confident, can handle deadlines under pressure with ease, is a leader and an independent thinker, works hard, is bright, passionate and loves Television and Film. Will report to first assistant who works remotely, as well as manage his/her own tasks and projects independently. MUST BE ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY.
