Full Time Job
Prominent Public Relations firm in Los Angeles representing entertainment and lifestyle personalities and businesses is looking for a dedicated assistant. Must be obsessed with all things film, television and theater, like to go out nights, network, be out and about, join industry groups and keep up on the latest industry trends, and business. Must know Photoshop and Cision and truly care about details.

Job Responsibilities:
- Handling mail, all incoming and outgoing, messenger, Fed Ex, UPS, USPS etc
- Answering phone and handling all incoming email to company account
- Keeping charts up to date in Excel
- Managing Office Events Calendar (mini pitches on clients to premieres, non profits, fashion, beauty events)
- Handling all press alerts (Google Alerts) on clientele, reading daily and ascertaing servicing potential
- Writing and Disseminating all memos to clients, and their teams
- Managing travel for clients and for owner of company
- Making press lists using Cision as well as keeping up company wide press/vip/event lists etc
- Manage and organize a busy daily calendar for clients and executive
- Mock up all press clippings and handle keeping bios and EPK's up to date
- Manage company internship program
Requirements:
- Must be a graduate from a reputable 4 year college
- Must have a Bachelors of Science majoring either in Public Relations, Marketing, Advertising or Communications
- Must have at least one internship at a public relations firm that specializes in talent, lifestyle or beauty
- Must know all Office products proficiently from Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
- Have experience managing a calendar
- Must be proficient in Photoshop - like really good
- Cision is preferred but can be taught
- Strong writing and communications skills, reliable and eager to contribute
- Being Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not necessary
