Finance/ Business Affairs Director
We currently have a great opportunity available for a Director of Finance/Business Affairs. The Director will report to the Chief Financial Officer and be a key component in financial planning and analysis, cost control, asset management and business decision support. The Director will interact with PMK*BNC executive and senior management to ensure the organization is favorably positioned for financial growth and efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work closely with leadership and associates to improve financial performance and understanding of key financial drivers and metrics.
• Assist with the development of annual and mid-term financial plans.
• Analyze company's expenses and cost drivers and identify areas of improvement.
• Support division and functional areas throughout PMK*BNC and IPG Corporate on business plans, decision making, productivity actions, and asset management.
• Evaluate financial processes and systems to drive improvements in efficiency, internal controls, and reporting capabilities.
• Support senior management in the evaluation and execution of strategic projects.
• Event Insurance
• Work with account executives on all aspects of IPG’s event insurance program to ensure all agency events are properly insured.
• Create and maintain a list of all client events.
• Review Event Liability Form for accuracy and completeness and submit to IPG’s agents and legal as necessary.
• Request COI’s for entities as required by written contract.
• Review COI’s submitted by vendors for accuracy and work with AE’s to ensure all vendors are properly contracted and all COI’s get submitted.
• Liaise with any questions from our agents or IPG Risk Management on events.
2. Contracts
• Liaise with internal and external counsel on all contracts submitted to the agency for review: vendors, venues, clients.
• Track each contract through the editing process.
• Liaise with SAG/AFTRA and Talent Partners.
3. Oversee the financial aspects of the retail sites operations
4. Time analysis (client profitability, client budgets, etc.)
• Assist CFO with budgeting.
• Other duties and projects as may be assigned.
Job Requirements
Required Skills:
• Demonstrate the ability to thoroughly understand a business's strategy and determine linkages to financial initiatives and drivers.
• Ability to effectively manage people, projects, and tasks ensuring appropriate responsiveness and priority.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels within the organization and influence processes across multiple functions and stakeholders.
• Highly computer proficient, including advanced capabilities with Excel.
• Experience using SAP FI, CO and BPC is highly desired.
• Reasoning skills; have a natural ability for being detail oriented and accurate with numbers and reporting.
• Superior problems solver and natural ability to figure out.
Required Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or other related field required.
• Previous 8 years progressively responsible experience in finance.
