PMK• BNC New York is seeking an Assistant for our Brand Communications division.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Clear understanding of client accounts, organizational structure, and business needs
• Administrative support, including answering phones, scheduling/coordinating meetings, booking travel, and completing expense reports
• Maintain supply of client-related materials and documents
• Regularly Develop and maintain media contact lists and databases
• Research and maintain speaking/editorial opportunities and calendars
• Scan daily, weekly, monthly and on-line publications to identify client-relevant media coverage, including competitive market and industry information
• Pitch/interact with media as deemed necessary by account team leader
• Draft basic press releases, pitch letters, and briefing documents
• Prepare clip reports and summaries as needed by team and client
• Coordinate mass mailings, shipments, messengers
• Contribute to client brainstorms with creative ideas
• Maintain showroom and samples
Requirements:
• 1 years experience in an agency
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Prior experience supporting fashion brands is preferred
• Basic understanding and knowledge of the fashion industry
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; Powerpoint and Outlook is a must
• Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills are a must
