Senior Marketing Insights & Strategy Analyst
We are currently seeking a Senior Marketing Analyst to support the Strategic Insights & Analytics group in our New York, NY location. The ideal candidate will be an analytical thinker able to pull together data quickly and bring forth impactful insight. The candidate will work with a team analyzing a wide range of Experiential events as they weave data from various sources together to provide insight-driven stories and recommendations to our clients. This individual should be comfortable with data crunching with an extreme eye for detail and be able to translate complex information clearly and concisely. This role requires exceptional leadership skills and excellent verbal and written communications skills. A general understanding of Brand Communications and Strategy as well as a keen understanding of how it connects to Popular Culture are advantageous.
The Strategic Insights & Analytics group uses in-depth research and data to challenge clients’ perceptions, identify opportunities, deliver insights and provide data driven solutions to a variety of situational barriers that enhance our clients’ successes in the marketplace.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Support client teams translate marketing objectives into an appropriate measurement framework to track performance of brand activations
• Project KPI targets in advance of activation and monitor performance against goals
• Maintain data tools and dashboards to oversee and track data collection
• Review data sets and reports for accuracy, validity and data integrity
• Examine data, identify patterns and interpret results to create an insightful story and business recommendations
• Create visually impactful reports and evaluations in collaboration with internal teams
• Prepare client ready presentations and reports; participate in client meetings, conference calls and presentations
• Assess ad-hoc requests from account team and client and ensure accurate fulfillment in a timely manner
• Manage vendors and/or outside partners for data tools and collection
• Explore innovative measurement tools and approaches and recommend new solutions
• Serve as a resource and subject matter expert on market research vendors, analytics tools and best practices
• Flexibility in work schedule required with weekend / evening hours
• Occasional travel may be required
Required Experience and Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree. Advanced degrees preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in market research, consumer insights or data analysis
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely
• Skilled at creatively visualizing information and data
• Manages multiple priorities, high pressure and meets tight deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Creative problem solving skills
• Exceptional project management skills
• Collaborative and good team player
• Must have excellent computer skills, expert in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access)
• Experience using analytics and visualization tools (e.g. SPSS, Excel Macros, Piktochart, Visual.ly etc.) preferred
• Experience managing vendors and/or outside partners
• Manage and develop strong client relationships, both internal and external
