Position: Freelance Assistant Production Manager
Markets:

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Production Manager is responsible for the development and execution of special events and marketing programs while the Production Manager is not on site.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the logistics, tech and production of programming for in-store and on-site event programming
• Coordination of day-to- day operations per the Production Manager's instructions
• Daily interaction with clients, vendors and venue operators
• Operations- floor plans, programming arrangements, staff management, vendor relations
• Advance Talent technical riders and hospitality riders
• Understanding of IT, AV, Sound, Lighting, etc. of venue space
• On-call / on-site operational support
• Onsite execution for events and technical needs with production of event
• Pre and post event analysis and reconciliation
• Participate in daily/weekly scheduling and development meetings, accurately reporting status of assigned projects
• Maintain quality control and provide final approval to all material during each production stage
• Coordinate project flow with pre-press and print vendors
• Create solutions for projects if behind schedule or approaching budget limit
• Ensure that quality of all creative or external assets and other components meet company quality standards and approvals
• Occasional client contact may be required
Required Experience and Skills:
• Experience on tier-one consumer sponsored tour activations
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a rigorous attention to detail
• Experience communicating status updates to external clients
• Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to provide constructive feedback to teams and individuals
• Extroverted, self-motivated and resilient with strong problem solving skills
• Ability to handle high pressure situations with confidence in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills
• Effective interpersonal skills, including the ability to provide constructive feedback to teams and individuals
• A flexible schedule is mandatory- work varied shifts to include days, nights, weekends and holidays
• Basic Microsoft Office skills with a strong proficiency in spreadsheet applications
• Excellent understanding of current marketing trends: digital, social, print, web and video
• Able to follow directions, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and respond to urgent requests in a positive manner
