Position Objective:
To support PETA's Celebrity Campaign Division and Animals in Film and Television Division
Term of Employment:
Part-time, contract
Description:
Are you a social butterfly who wants to help the world's largest animal rights organization? Do you frequently find yourself on VIP guest lists or walking on-or beside-the red carpet? Do you consider yourself to be ''well connected'' to the entertainment community? Are you at ease at VIP events, comfortable rubbing elbows and sparking conversations with stars and their reps?
If you answered ''yes'' to any of these questions, we may be looking for you.
The Communications Department at PETA is looking for a contractor to help seed and nurture relationships in the entertainment community. An important aspect of our lifesaving work is enlisting celebrities (artists, actors, athletes, and other influencers) to help spread a positive animal rights message far and wide. We want someone who's dialed in to this community to help network-and open new doors-on our behalf. You must be a dependable, compassionate, and well-connected professional with established entertainment-industry relationships who's comfortable attending industry events as well as functions and a true self-starter. Bonus points if you're vegan and able to articulate PETA's position on key issues.
