Owl and the Elephant seeks an intern to assist in essential production duties, including location scout, permitting, casting, general shoot logistics, travel coordination, on set production. Interns report to the Production Coordinator and Manager. Interns will gain experience in production coordination and management. Ideal candidates should be motivated to work hard and mutli-task.
The performance of the intern will be evaluated by the Production Manager at the end of the internship period and further opportunity might be available. Assessment will be based on the position summary and any requirements of the interns affiliation.
Areas of Support (Intern may be involved in one or more areas of support):
- • Consult with producing team on pre-production basis to discuss specific project elements as they relate to production
- • Assists with shoots
- • Assist with maintenance of equipment, including inventorying, cleaning, and possible repairs
Position Requirements:?Candidates should meet some or all of the following:
- • Experience working on shoots and general responsibilities therein?
• Excellent oral and written communication skills?• Ability to work on multiple projects at once and use time efficiently?
• Ability to learn rapidly and adapt quickly to changing situations?• Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- • Ability to establish effective working relationships
