DIRECTOR, SCHEDULING
The Director of Scheduling will oversee and execute all long- and short-range scheduling functions, with the objective of maximizing viewership, revenue, and brand impact.
Specific duties will include:
• Create, issue and implement weekly, monthly, and long-range primetime schedules.
• Track and execute against competitive landscape.
• Work with Research to track and integrate audience, program-specific and competitive research.
• Track and manage program inventory and useage.
• Work with Ad Sales to execute specific scheduling and revenue objectives.
• Oversee content delivery, formatting and S&P.
• Oversee flow of information to client departments, including On Air, Marketing, Digital, Ad and Affiliate Sales.
• Work with VP and SVP to formulate long range scheduling strategies.
• Consult with VP and SVP on acquisitions and development.
Position will report to VP, Acquisitions and Program Planning.
Position will manage Scheduling Manager and Programming Coordinator.
Requirements:
5 years in scheduling/programming cable network, with some management experience. Candidate with research background may also be considered. Candidate should have strong communication skills, and strong process management skills. Emerging network experience and love of art & culture a plus.
Strong computer skills including: Excel, FileMaker Pro, Word, PowerPoint
BA preferred |
