As a leading producer, it is a major force in acquiring, development and producing reality and non-scripted programming for the US networks.
The Company is currently seeking a Development Manager to be based out of our Sherman Oaks office, to report to the VP and President of Outpost Entertainment. This is a high profile position, which requires an individual who is highly motivated and has the ability to be flexible with ever-changing priorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage development pipeline and workflow for projects from initial outreach to greenlight
• Work with the team to develop original, non-scripted content
• Conduct initial casting skypes
• Write treatments
• Participate in development's production shoots
• Manage and track development slates
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 1-2 years development experience, especially developing unscripted programming for both digital and television audiences
• Excellent writing skills
• Strong research skills
• Have a passion for unscripted content creation
• Be well versed in doc/reality television
• Ability to identify great talent
• Be assertive, collaborative and work well within a team
• Must know how to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
• Production experience a plus
• Adobe Creative Suite and Avid a plus
