Motion Graphics Designer - Denver, CO

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• The ideal candidate will be an energetic self-starter adept at project management.
• Develop, design and create motion graphics elements to be used on-air, on-line and in multi-platform programming.
• Collaborate with editors and producers to design and create custom motion graphics for promos, presentations and on-line.
• Maintain and update our brand identity through animated bumpers, bugs, and show IDs.
• Ability to design and build everything from 2D and 3D logos to full 3D environments to final composite graphics ready for broadcast.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment under tight daily deliverable deadlines.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including occasional nights and weekends.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Generally requires a minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in creative, design and production environments at a TV Network, Cable or Promotions agency.
Required proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma required. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in related field required.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Attention to detail
• Proficiency in AfterEffects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Motion, Adobe Premiere. Working knowledge of Cinema 4D.
• Excellent graphic design skills, including typography.
• Proficient in Mac OS based operating systems
• Superior organization skills with detailed understanding of file formats, encoding/exporting and archive standard practices
• Ability to juggle several projects at a time.
• Positive attitude and collaborative working approach
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven and constantly changing environment is critical
• Flexibility to switch gears with little notice
• Excellent organization skills
• Ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines and understand when to escalate potential issues
• Basic math skills
• Must be internal and external customer focused
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to use tact and diplomacy; must be team player
• Analytical abilities
• Must be self-motivated with ability to use own initiative
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

External: minimal contact with clients
JUDGEMENT/REASONING ABILITY: Ability to recognize discrepancies and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment, poise and diplomacy. Requires ability to use judgment and reasoning skills, and determine when issues need to be escalated.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit; use hands and fingers, bend, stoop and reach with hands and arms.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds <5% daily

Able to hear and speak into a telephone 60% daily
Able to stand, bend and stoop 20% daily
WORK ENVIRONMENT: The noise in the work environment is usually moderate. Other factors are:
• Ability to travel if needed. Travel is minimal in this position.
• Hectic, fast-paced with multi-level distractions
• Professional, yet casual office work environment
• Ability to work extended hours as required
