MOVIE SCREENER POSITION - APPRAISING FEATURE FILMS (Chatsworth, CA)
This is a great opportunity to get into the field of feature film acquisitions! We are looking for a few select, very talented individuals who have the natural instinct to appraise films and identify which ones would be worth acquiring. You will be paid to watch and evaluate films.
We are offering $10/hour for you to come in for a test of your viewing skills to see if you can spot the quality films that we are looking for. This could lead to a part-time or full-time position with our company. Pay rate can increase to as much as $20/hour depending on our assessment of your skills and depending on your experience.
We strongly believe that there is no way to teach someone to appraise art and movies. Some things can be trained, but we are looking for talented people with the right instincts to recognize product that is commercial and will do well in the current marketplace.
You should have at least a high school diploma and some college is preferred. You must have a strong understanding of the English language, as well as an ability to work with minimal supervision. Experience is a plus but not required. If you like to go to museums, art shows, and you enjoy movies of all genres, this position may be a good fit for you.
