Optimism Entertainment, a Los Angeles based Talent & Literary Management firm is hiring for assistant positions. Responsibilities include: Script coverage, booking travel, submissions, scheduling appointments, answering phones, working directly with high profile client's, CD's, producers, and studio/network executives. Must be extremely detailed, polite, confident, well organized and possess a high level of initiative. Highly proficient in computer skills(Both MAC & PC) including BD services, IE, Photo Shop, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel. Ideal applicants should have strong knowledge of who the key executives and casting directors are, and MUST have at least 2-3 years agency or management experience as an assistant. Prefer applicants who have a strong interest in eventually becoming a talent or literary manager. This position offers competitive salary + bonus and medical benefits.
