TITLE: Sales and Marketing Intern
DEPARTMENT: Sales and Marketing
REPORTS TO: Head of Integrated Marketing
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
1. Perform research tasks for Head of Integrated Marketing, Creative Director and Affiliate Activations Manager to find and log general industry statistics, YouTube partner information and social statistics and organize information into spreadsheets.
(Importance: 60% / Time: 60%)
2. Edit and enter data within Keynote presentation templates for sales and marketing pitch materials.
(Importance: 30% / Time: 20%)
3. Assist sales and marketing teams with basic YouTube Partner-facing communication tasks via email.
(Importance: 5% / Time: 10%)
4. Provide administrative support for sales and marketing team.
(Importance: 5% / Time: 10%)
RESPONSIBLE FOR:
1. Maintaining up-to date spreadsheets for research tasks.
2. Updating pitch materials to meet specific client needs.
3. Providing flexible support to sales and marketing staff.
LONG TERM PROSPECTS:
- Potential for full-time employment within the Solutions/Integrated Marketing team upon completion of internship, pending performance reviews and assessment of company needs
QUALIFICATIONS:
• College degree or proof of current enrollment required.
• A solid understanding of the YouTube ecosystem, and the trends, popular concepts, and nature of viral content found on the platform.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Google Documents, Keynote and / or Power Point.
• Must be highly effectively when searching for content through Google, Bing, Youtube and all other relevant search engines.
• Intermediate to advanced professional writing skills.
PERFORMANCE METRICS:
• Speed and accuracy of tasks performed.
• Willingness to learn and enthusiasm towards the work.
