Responsibilities:
-Establishing and direct departmental goals and ensure alignment with strategic business objectives.
-Act as main point of contact with Distribution companies, and successfully pitch and sell Omnia Original programming as well as partner content.
-Building a culture of innovation and grow the Business Development team.
-Leading quarterly business reviews, and coordinating internal and external efforts to support successfully incubating and scaling our initiatives.
-Lead presentations to the executive management team and departments within the company.
-Lead the company's management and oversight of existing and new strategic partners.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree with 10+ years of business development experience at start-ups and media (TV/Film), and/or large consumer Internet / technology companies is preferred.
-Strong analytical skills with an understanding of ways to interpret/translate customer business needs into requirements.
-Strong execution/delivery orientation with ''hands-on'' experience managing large scale and complex projects.
-Makes decisions that balance a variety of factors (e.g. cost, risk, short-term vs. long-term impact) to achieve an optimal outcome.
-Highly strategic and capable of driving internal stakeholders to a consensus on important issues.
-Comfort with a fast-paced, rapidly changing, highly ambitious - and ambiguous - start-up environment.
-Extensive negotiation experience, including comfort with legal aspects of negotiations.
