Omelet is looking for a Business Affairs Manager to join our team. The Business Affairs Manager will manage all aspects of broadcast, content, social, digital, activation, business affairs, budget administration, talent management, concept 'risk assessment' and legal clearance from campaign inception to completion.
CORE COMPETENCIES
- Knowledge of advertising agency, video, content, social, digital, event production and business affairs
- Excellent negotiation, leadership and communication skills
- Self-motivation and extreme organization in fast-paced environment
- Strong decision-making skills
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned)
- Liaison between agency, client and legal counsel with respect to administration contract negotiation, execution and payments
- Handle talent contracting and estimating for commercial & photography productions
- Negotiate celebrity/overscale talent agreements
- Work with agency team to independently review ad concepts, storyboards and scripts to make sure they are within network and client legal guidelines
SKILLS/REQUIREMENT
- 4-6 years related experience in advertising or commercial (video) production
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solutions-driven, creative and able to improvise
- Thorough knowledge of the SAG, AFTRA and AFM commercials contracts and Non-Union Productions
