Search for Senior Account Executive - Automotive Regional jobs in Los Angeles-CA
The principle responsibilities of this position will be to lead event planning and executions for the client's Western Region based events. The Senior Account Executive will work with the regional Account Director to develop strategic marketing plans, execute regional and local dealer group events.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Deliver creative event solutions, negotiate benefits, coordinate all details associated with region-specific programs
Consult with Market/Dealer Groups to develop/promote regional/local programs
Liaise with media agency partners to leverage valued added opportunities
Develop creative onsite activations for partnerships and be the primary point of contact in the planning and implementation of the plans
Provide onsite management and implementation for regional/local programs
Provide on-going analysis of local / regional events
Create cross promotional opportunities within key markets
Monitor and report competitive activity in the region
Supervise limited-term regional employees or event staff
Ongoing recruitment for client center involvement
Budget management and reconciliation including vendor bids and internal process forms
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in a related field, with a minimum of 4 years agency/client service experience
Proven success in building positive client relationships
Knowledge of Automotive Industry a plus
Ability to manage relationships with key partners (e.g. venues, vendors, suppliers, etc.)
Ability to supervise, manage and mentor event coordinators
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage tight deadlines
Experience with on-site event management and execution
Budget management and/or budget reconciliation experience
Basic understanding of advertising and new media
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Access)
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects at one time
Extensive travel and weekend work
