JOB DESCRIPTION
Northwest Lineman College is seeking a highly creative individual with advanced knowledge, skill, and experience in producing high-end, compelling videos that enhance the company's image and brand and improve the power delivery industry. The Video Producer/Director at Northwest Lineman College Productions reports to the Creative Director and collaborates with creative staff and leadership to create professional videos for training, marketing, and documentary-style storytelling. A Successful Candidate in this position is highly motivated, detail oriented, and excels in both crew and ''one-man-band'' production environments. This collaborative professional is able to take complete ownership and responsibility for every aspect of assigned video projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate has a ''can-do'' attitude, positively pushing the creativity of the whole, yet submissive and respectful to the direction of leadership.
Preference given to any candidate with 3D motion graphics skills (ability to efficiently model and animate graphics, hand tools, and power industry related equipment in programs such as Cinema 4D, Maya, 3D Studio Max, or Blender, etc.)

REQUIRED EDUCATION/PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree in media production, mass communications, or film school, or 3 years of relevant professional work experience;
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES/PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
• Self-starter, highly motivated and detail oriented;
• Demonstrated ability to work independently or on a team to complete any size of project and meet deadlines;
• Knowledge, skill, and experience in the following:
o Time Management
o Critical Thinking
o Creative Brainstorming
o Scriptwriting
o Production Planning (i.e. scheduling, talent, logistics, etc.)
o Directing
o Cinematography
o Lighting
o Grip Work
o Audio Production
o Video Editing (Adobe Premiere)
o Motion Graphics (Adobe Photoshop/After Effects)
o Production Design
• Technical knowledge and skill with industry standard production and post-production equipment; including studio production equipment such as light grid, sound absorption, sound proofing, infinity wall, ISO booth, etc.;
• Knowledge and proficiency in video production techniques, practices, principles, and methodology;
• High standard of friendly customer service in execution of duties;
• Excellent communication and listening skills in English, both oral and written;
• Life-long learning in disciplines and technology relevant to this position.
