NorthSouth Productions, the producers of Impractical Jokers and Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta, is one of the largest independent producers of television programming in the country. Providing programming to a variety of networks including truTV, Discovery Channel, Speed, History, A&E, TLC and Travel Channel, our production credits include competition-elimination, documentaries, adventure travel, home improvement and docu-comedy formats.
For the Spring 2017 semester, NorthSouth's New York office is seeking a lively, inquisitive, and hungry Junior or Senior intern to exclusively assist our development team with project specific research and outreach. This is a great opportunity to learn from seasoned industry professionals and gain exposure to the development phase of television production. Interns will assist NorthSouth's New York office with all aspects of production, including assisting the development team with research and outreach, prepping shoots for upcoming projects, and preparing materials for the post-production process.
Intern will assist the Post Production team with transcriptions
Interns will also assist with office maintenance, including answering phones, picking up and delivering mail, etc.
Applicants should have a desire to learn more about television production, specifically the development process, have excellent phone manner, computer skills, research skills, and be hardworking within an office setting.
Candidates must be available to work in NorthSouth's New York office for a minimum of three weekdays.
This internship is for college credit only to Juniors and Seniors.
