Nomad Editing currently has an opening for an Office Manager in our Santa Monica office.
SUMMARY:
This position will oversee and supervise our Receptionist and Client Service department, and will be responsible for general office needs and maintenance. We are looking for someone who is outgoing and friendly, who loves working in a fast-paced and creative environment, and who is very organized and detail oriented.
RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to:
-Managing Client Service Department of 1-3 people.
-Hiring and managing shifts. Booking freelancers when extra help is needed.
-Overseeing the ordering of meals, drinks and snacks for clients and staff.
-Maximizing the client experience with everything from managing magazine subscriptions to researching new dining options/experiences and making clients feel welcome.
-Distributing and reconciling petty cash.
-Monitoring edit bays/lobby area/main rooms to make sure they're kept clean and tidy.
General Office Management:
-Calling and scheduling maintenance crews when needed: plumbing, air conditioning, etc.
-Helping receptionist manage client and staff parking during busy periods.
REQUIREMENTS:
Basic computer experience
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Outgoing and friendly personality - enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
Previous client service or hospitality experience a plus
