Crew - Low Budget Horror
Nightfall PicturesLos Angeles, CA
Nightfall Pictures is in pre-production on ''Hi-Death'', a low-budget indie horror anthology, sequel to ''Hi-8'' (got great press, played over 20 festivals all over the world, released on Amazon Instant Video, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.). ''Hi- Death'' will enter the international festival circuit next year and will be released on DVD and streaming in US.
We're looking for a few crew members to join our team to shoot the Los Angeles segment for 2 days at the end of September. We'll shoot locally in the LA area with a very intimate cast and crew.
We need a Director of Photography, great position for a recent film school grad, a DP with many shorts under their belt, or a gaffer, AC, camera operator, etc. with experience who wants to transition to DP-ing. This is a great chance to get your name on a feature, build your reel, get some exposure, and work with a professional director and producer.
We need a DP with their own HD camera (or access to one) and access to a basic (three point) lighting package. We're looking for somebody professional, easy to get along with, with a great attitude. Low pay; compensation will primarily be credit, copy, and meals.
Also looking for a Makeup FX artist for half a day, LA area, very experienced director that knows how to work with FX. We need somebody who's building their reel, recent Make Up school grad or somebody starting out. Fun project to be involved in. We can offer a kit fee. Great credit on a feature!
Production Assistants also needed for a few departments - Production, Camera, Sound. Great if you want to get real set experience, this is very hands-on experience, you won't be away ''locking up'' somewhere, you'll be able to contribute and learn from professionals. Fun project, perfect for film students or recent grads who want to gain experience, get a credit on a feature (IMDB as well). No pay, but credit, copy and meals provided. And fun!
Thanks a lot!
