Overview and Responsibilities
Nickelodeon Digital is seeking a Product Manager with 2 years of product management experience to drive the evolution of its Android experiences on tablet, phone and TV.
The Product Manager will work in an Agile/Scrum environment and will be responsible for managing the prioritization of work required to maximize benefits to the user and the business, authoring user stories, maintaining backlog, analyzing the competition and collaborating with stakeholders to create best-of-breed products.
This position will also facilitate the day-to-day work of the scrum team by reviewing QA results, clarifying requirements, completing user acceptance testing, escalating blockers to management and facilitating communication across development teams.
The Product Manager will be a part of the Nick Digital Product Management organization, which is responsible for Nickelodeon’s digital portfolio of products representing about 20 million monthly unique visitors.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the development of a kid-focused product strategy and vision supported by research, data and business goals
• Define creative, high quality, simple product roadmaps based on team strategy and vision
• Create buy-in for the product vision within the product group and with external stakeholders
• Break down complex problems into manageable steps by writing and prioritizing epics and user stories
• Coordinate product delivery by working closely with user experience, design and content teams
• Be a leader in your scrum team—foster a creative, collaborative and disciplined culture to produce the best results possible
• Analyze product use and performance to continually focus on growth and improvements
• Research and present competitive and best-practice analyses
• Communicate development status and requirements across teams and departments
Basic Qualifications
• At least 2 years’ experience in a Product Management role for a website or mobile app
• Experience working on an Agile/Scrum team
Additional Qualifications
• Strong user experience focus
• Understanding of Internet trends
• Strong understanding of the Apple ecosystem
• Ability to prioritize business and development needs on multiple projects simultaneously
