Overview and Responsibilities
The Director of New Business Partner Marketing will develop industry-leading on and off-channel marketing partnerships for non-traditional new business ad sales partners. The New Business team is looking for a Nickelodeon fan that believes in the power of brand partnerships. The Director must thrive on creating strategic co-branded campaigns and be able to articulate ideas through a story driven presentation that is both well written and beautifully designed.
This position reports to the Vice President New Business Partner Marketing and will have managers reporting into him/her (direct and dotted line reporting).
Responsibilities
• Develop dynamic integrated marketing ideas for prospective new partners that leverage Nickelodeon’s iconic IP, support channel priorities and elevate both Nickelodeon and the clients’ brands
• Create new partnership opportunities and exciting creative programs based on clients needs and objectives
• Work hand in hand with junior New Business team members to craft PowerPoint presentations with a heavy focus on concise storytelling and graphic design
• Demonstrate strong management skills with a passion to develop and lead junior team members to maximize potential and quality of work
• Liaise with all internal LOBs to develop co-branded integrated marketing concepts (e.g. standards, legal, programming, creative resources, consumer products, digital, etc.).
• Collaborate with various internal groups to develop client-focused marketing solutions and sales presentations that drive incremental revenue and elevate the Nick brand.
• Serve as a brand filter for client focused Nick promotional programs, such as branded custom TV spots, sweepstakes, digital campaigns, retail, on-pack, consumer products, recreation, etc.
• Ensure the Nickelodeon brand is properly represented in all internal and external sales and marketing materials.
• Consistently conduct market research to be knowledgeable about current campaigns for inspiration as well as to ensure our ideas are unique to Nick and our partners
Basic Qualifications
• 8 years marketing brand creative experience
Additional Qualifications
• Seasoned, creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of all media platforms – on-air, digital, mobile, off-channel
• Excellent written skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong project management skills including organization and attention to details in a fast-paced, dead-line oriented environment.
• Knowledge and familiarity of Nickelodeon, kids TV marketplace, and relevant trends in the digital/TV marketing landscape
• Strong Management Skills – ability to give feedback and direction
• Strong business ethics
