POSITION TITLE: Production Assistant (Freelance, Full Time)
START DATE: ASAP
DEPARTMENT: Nickelodeon International Creative
DIRECT SUPERVISOR'S TITLE: Supervising Producer
GENERAL/OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support the International Creative team with on-air, multi-platform and corporate assignments
• Source assets for both internal and external edits (media/music/image pulls, graphics coordination, etc.)
• Support Producers with any ancillary production needs (researching, brainstorming, archiving, transcoding, transcribing, logging footage, etc.)
• Coordinate and archive the final delivery of all projects in a timely manner
• QC and deliver all spots via catapult into ALIAS or DES
• Prep project paperwork (rundowns, music cues, scripts, etc.) for international delivery
• Source and compress all music tracks and graphics for each project
• Draft delivery emails outlining all information necessary for proper usage of assets
• Work with programming, marketing and other LOBs to ensure IAN is updated with media plans, IPM docs, or other assets necessary for regions to execute campaigns successfully
• Support team in the field or on set for promo shoots and live events
• Assist Production Manager and Department Assistant with call sheets, permits, hiring crew/vendors, talent contracts, etc. as needed
REQUIREMENTS - SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
• Bachelor's degree in television/entertainment/media production
• 1-2 years experience in the production assistant role
• Excellent organizational and communications skills (oral and written)
• Must be extremely detail-oriented and able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Must be a forward thinker - ability to anticipate issues and propose solutions with minimal guidance
• Ideal candidate will possess initiative, show flexibility, be willing to work extra hours if necessary, and be a team player
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface and thrive within a fast-paced, deadline-oriented, creative environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and After Effects a plus
