Full Time Job
Primary Responsibilities:
• Assist in the negotiation, execution and settlement of major non-baseball events at Yankee Stadium (i.e., New Era Pinstripe Bowl, concerts, regular season college football games, etc.)
• Evaluate profitability of prospective major event opportunities through the preparation of forecasts and projections
• Develop models to determine optimal ticket pricing and oversee ticket manifest
• Prepare event-specific revenue and expense budgets and reconcile to actual results to facilitate financial settlements
• Assist in reviewing legal contracts to confirm accurate description of deal terms
• Liaise with multiple departments to help ensure the successful execution of each event
• Establish relationships and work directly with representatives of the outside entities to coordinate various aspects of the event, including ticketing and budget oversight
• Manage financial aspects of NYCFC partnership, including profitability forecast and proper expense treatment
• Determine postseason pricing compliant with internal directives and the Major League Baseball Postseason Manual
• Prepare and evaluate analytics on various additional projects to benefit departments across the organization
• Track barter arrangements
• Oversee expense management system and review expense reports for compliance with the expense reporting policy
• Review commission payments to sales staff for compliance with departmental commission plans
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in financial analysis, consulting, business development or strategic planning
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing assignments
• Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
• Competent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally
