Summary:
The Coordinator, Ticket Operations assists the Director of Ticket Operations with all setup and maintenance of our ProVenue ticketing system, while also providing the necessary support to the Ticket Sales and Ticket Operations staffs. The Coordinator, Ticket Operations is also responsible for assisting with setup and support at all events at Citi Field, MCU Park and the Mets Spring Training Complex in Port St. Lucie, FL.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Setup, manage and support all New York Mets home games, packages and promotions on the ProVenue ticketing system.
• Assist in all operational aspects of the Ticket Sales and Services business cycle.
• Train and assists Ticket Sales and Ticket Operations staff of current and new features of the ticketing system.
• Provide support and act as the central point of contact for all ticket outlets for ProVenue questions and issues.
• Ensure proper functionality of access control equipment, POS terminals, ticket kiosks and BOCA printers.
• Work closely with Ticket Sales and Services to provide the highest level of customer service for all ticket holders. This includes Box Office support for all Mets home games and Citi Field events.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of all non-baseball Citi Field events (concerts, tours, etc.) as well as all events at MCU Park and the Mets Spring Training Complex in Port St. Lucie, FL.
• Additional projects as assigned.
Requirements:
• 4 year college degree or combination of equivalent education and experience.
• Prior experience in the ticketing or sports industry is highly desired.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong written and oral communication, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Provide outstanding customer service while working in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment.
• Capable of working under pressure to meet deadlines for various projects.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of ticketing software (ProVenue) is preferred.
