About the job:
The Front-End Developer's role is to work within a team of 1-5 developers to create fun and immersive interactive HTML5 sites and games that are both cross-browser and cross-device. This developer will have advanced experience in HTML/HTML5, CSS3, Javascript. He/She can have experience with PHP, AJAX, and JSON/XML, but is not a focus. An understanding and passion for cutting-edge technology and pushing what's possible for web development is highly recommended. This is a temp to perm position, depending on quality of work, wotk ethic, and chemistry with our team.
MINIMUM Requirements (if you do not meet all of these, please save your own time - thank you!):
-Qualified candidates will have a MINIMUM of 3 years front-end development experience and at least 2 years mobile web front-end development.
-Strong portfolio is a MUST.
-Agency or other entertainment experience is also a MUST.
-Experience with interactive entertainment projects and games is a MUST.
-Able to work in a collaborative environment
Additional skills of an excellent candidate:
Strong analytical and problem solving ability
Experience with HTML/HTML5, CSS3, Javascript
Knowledge of responsive/adaptive design and development
Cross-browser and cross-device development experience
Working knowledge of Version Control systems including Git and SVN
Experience developing HTML/Javascript games
Advanced to Expert level time management and communication skills
Intermediate to advanced level animations skills
Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
