The Marketing Assistant supports the Marketing Department fully with all projects including implementation of marketing campaign tactics, coordinating production assets for use in promotional and sales materials, contributing to sales pitches and more.
What you'll do:
- Oversee projects in support of series marketing campaign implementation and activation.
- Pull and archive all promotional production assets (key art, title treatments, loglines, stills, etc) for marketing use. Determine how they are stored, how they are shared and how they are searched.
- Maintain calendars and logs for all production and sales assets for distribution to all relevant parties: PR, Marketing, Development, Production, Programming, Sales, etc.
- Create communication systems to inform all internal stakeholders of marketing priorities and campaigns, including drafting and sending weekly internal emails and creating planning decks.
- Maintain social media reach stats and tracking for all active campaigns and New Form Talent by using tools such as Tubular Labs and Mention.
- Implement weekly performance reports by project and for the department overall, ie managing custom dashboards and updating working recap decks.
- Maintain storage of all marketing merchandise and keep a running inventory log.
- Manage expense reports for the department - reconcile costs on master department budget.
- Manage invoicing process for marketing productions and events.
- Maintain relationships and support partners and vendors for all marketing requests.
- Lightly manage scheduling and filing for VP, Marketing.
- Perform other research and special projects as needed and assigned.
Who you are:
- 1-2 years experience in the entertainment industry, passion for marketing is key.
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented with a knack for process, procedures and structure - both independently and in small teams.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively cross-departments, think proactively and be solution-oriented. Willingness to tackle matters outside area of expertise.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; articulate and well spoken.
- Intimate knowledge of all social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) including best practices for creative assets.
- Working knowledge of Google Drive, Microsoft Suite and other communication and document-or deck-building tools mandatory. Wordpress and Adobe Creative Cloud skills a plus!
- Interest in creative writing and has a 'keen eye' for art and design.
- Up-to-date on trends in digital, tech and millennial lifestyle.
