New Form's Sales and Business Development team is seeking a Director who will be an exceptional addition. As a Director, Partner Manager, you will report directly to the VP of Sales and be an integral part of the group responsible to make New Form's various distributor, media and advertiser partners successful.
You will assist the VP of Sales and Chief Operating Officer with the strategy, plan and daily management of New Form's biggest business partners. In addition, you'll work closely with all New Form business units to deliver value for New Form's clients.
Candidates that have previous experience in production, entertainment or production environments will be especially relevant for this role.
The right person for this role is a self-starter, eager to learn, well-versed in the digital media and entertainment ecosystem and experienced in navigating cross-functional relationships within and outside an organization. She/He has exceptional communication and organizational skills and is able to work with to build consensus around mutually beneficial opportunities. Finally, she/he thinks big, learns quickly, and is eager to grow our business relationships.
What you'll do :
- Assist VP of Sales and Business Development Director in managing current clients and partners.
- Own and manage a key set partner relationships, fostering teamwork-based collaboration and executing across all stages of the partnership lifecycle (i.e., deal negotiation, production of assets, engagement/retention, launches, renewals, joint marketing initiatives, roadmap planning, etc.).
- Establish collaborative cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders on the Development, Programming, Production, Marketing, Legal and Finance teams to help execute partnership requirements and deliver on business objectives.
- Conduct reporting and data analysis to analyze partner performance, identify potential opportunities and provide key requirements to technical teams to establish relevant partner tracking mechanisms.
- Create documents and develop processes to summarize complex agreements and data findings for internal or external use.
- Work with internal departments, including Production and Development departments around creative development, executions and delivery.
What you'll need to have :
- 5-7 years' overall experience, with 3+ years of relationship management with a media/technology focus.
- Passion for entertainment, TV and technology with a deep knowledge of the evolution of the digital/media industries.
- Strong partner engagement skills with the ability to develop relationships, and maximize existing partner channels.
- Ability to prioritize, identify problems, quickly devise feasible solution options, disseminate the appropriate information to relevant stakeholders and ultimately bring about timely resolution.
- Excellent communication skills with an effortless ability to tailor messages for multiple audiences; comfort in addressing informal team meetings and delivering prepared presentations to executives/external audiences.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams on technical projects, specifically in translating business objectives/priorities for colleagues.
- Willingness to travel (10-15%).
