Netflix didn't get on all the leading TVs, phones, tablets, and Pay TV set-top boxes overnight. It took years of strategic planning, partnership development, engineering, and testing to ensure Netflix is widely available and able to provide the best possible streaming experience imaginable. Today, Netflix is on over 1,500 devices and scaling partnerships with companies like Apple, Google, LG, Samsung, Sony, and more. It takes top notch engineers, designers, product managers, and partner engagement leaders to drive this mission forward by launching new device partnerships and further developing existing ones around the globe. To support this growth, we need a talented Technical Recruiter to help us continue to strategically build out our Partner Devices Team.
In this role, you will:
• Own the strategy to recruit senior and niche candidates in limited talent pools, including driving a business plan, compiling competitive research, networking, and sourcing
• Engage key staffing and business partners in order to understand their talent needs
• Use talent market expertise, data, and business acumen to educate and influence hiring managers on how to identify and acquire the best talent
• Source the best candidates and then interview, offer, and close candidates for assigned roles
• Network and maintain relationships with key talent communities for short and/or long term opportunities
• Ensure that candidates understand and embrace our unique Freedom & Responsibility Culture.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the top Netflix competitors and the industry
• Understand our broader business and be able to effectively answer questions around Netflix's strategy, goals, and culture
You are:
• Self-motivated and directed, able to work autonomously and succeed without a ton of direction
• Proactive and impact driven, taking initiative and producing results
• Accustomed to juggling multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Collaborative in how you approach working with your business partners
• Bold and innovative, challenging opinions and offering forward thinking solutions
• Curious to understand market trends and able to translate this back to the business
• Selfless, seeking what is best for Netflix and the candidate experience
• Passionate, expressing enthusiasm towards your work, teams, and Netflix
• Experienced, with a minimum of 4 years in staffing or a related field
