We're looking for a Social Media Manager to join our Talent Acquisition team in Los Gatos or Los Angeles, CA. This role will help Netflix bring our culture to life in creative and interesting ways. Netflix has a culture unlike any other and we need to market it in a way that is equally unique in the world of employer branding. We're looking for a storyteller who will think outside of the typical employment branding box.
Who we are looking for: You have run social brand campaigns before and want to try something radically challenging. You are eager to innovate with new approaches in branding companies and culture and you are a savvy social media expert who takes a more creative approach than programmatic. Most importantly, you have a passion for telling stories about companies, culture and talent. And if you are excited about our culture and have the expertise and the desire to take risks in crafting both serious and light-hearted social media campaigns that represent the authentic Netflix experience. You will be the creator, the incubator, the decision maker and our voice - that's a lot of responsibility because we hold our culture and our brand close to our hearts, but you will also have the freedom to shape and guide what the world knows about us.
The ideal candidate:
• Strategic and analytical: You are thoughtful about what will and will not work by testing, analyzing and rapidly learning different approaches to branding
• Creative: You can create your own content, you are a competent writer and know how to engage external marketing or PR agencies' help
• Proactive: You create and manage the plan so that our social channels do not become stale
• Collaborative: Partner with Marketing/PR and Talent teams to be highly aligned on the vision and voice
• Globally savvy: Bring a global perspective, recognizing the nuances between cultures and Netflix offices and how to share their experiences
• Resourceful: You will seek and find and evolve the resources we have internally and balance creating new and evolving existent materials.
• Teach and improve: You do not strive to succeed on your own but love to collaborate, share and teach Talent Acquisition and hiring teams how to effectively brand and tell their stories
• Social Media Native: You speak fluent Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Snapchat
• Have at least 4 to 6 years of experience with the above
